what are the parts i would need to build an engine?

im rebuilding an engine in my 1993 3000gt i plan on upgrading it some but i dont know a lot about cars right now thats one reason im doing this is to learn more but can anyone give me a list of engine parts or where i can find one? it has the v6 3.0 DOHC
