Chevy 2.2 engine has two cranks if you have the wrong one can you make it work by changing the crank sensor?

I had my engine put together and there is no rpms registering on the testing computer,so i figure i have the wrong crank please help.

no problem you can change the crank sensor as long that desame type and functions.
